A Home for Senior Christian Independent Living

The Western Assemblies Home provides care to all brothers and sisters who fellowship, or have fellowshiped, in a Plymouth Brethren Chapel or Gospel Hall at some period in their life. We have a small, but close-knit group of Christians living in the Home.

The Home is located in the heart of Claremont, California. The Home consists of a Main Building on Berkeley Avenue that includes both single and double rooms with baths. In addition, the Home includes 11 houses on the two adjacent streets to the Home (Stanford Drive and Grinnell Drive). With these types of accommodations we provide a variety of housing, and give more flexibility to the needs of residents. We provide additional care in the Main Building for those requiring it in our infirmary wing.

Our support to all residents includes housing, three meals a day, laundry, caregiver services, and many activities. We can assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, bathroom, and distribution of medications.

All our guests are in assembly fellowship, including former missionaries and full-time commended workers. The Claremont Bible Chapel, where a large, active, and friendly assembly meets, is located just one block from the Home, a pleasant walk along a quiet and safe tree-lined street with level sidewalks. For those who prefer, transportation is provided.

The Western Assemblies Home is a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
